Powerhouse

Powerhouse Brattørkaia is the biggest energy-positive building in Norway, and one of the world's most impressive sustainable structures. Producing approximately 280,000 kWh more energy than it uses – that’s the annual consumption of about 30 single family homes – it is a fully green climate building.

In the Powerhouse Puls viewing center on the first floor, visitors can dive into interactive installations on solar power, energy-positive architecture, and the story behind Powerhouse. The exhibition encourages visitors to think about their own energy consumption, and their own place in adressing global climate challenges. Engaging digital installations allow visitors to go as light or as deep as they like in the content, and allow Powerhouse to continuously add and update content in real time.
