Norway is the world's largest exporter of farmed salmon. Every second, Norway exports 38 kg of salmon to the rest of the world, creating jobs along the entire coast. In close collaboration with the NTNU University Museum and INAQ, Expology created an interactive visitor center exploring the challenges and opportunities of this fast-growing industry.
The exhibition has an educational focus and encourages visitors to engage at on various levels. Whether they prefer to explore at their own pace or participate in a game challenging them to take on the role of salmon farmer for a year, visitors dive deeper into themes like sustainability, common myths, wild vs farmed fish, and the Norwegian coastline.
Expology had the role of exhibition producer - creating the concept, graphical and physical design, as well as contributing to the content and the interactive installations.
