Project: Jews & Sweden
Client: Jewish Museum
In a former synagogue in the Old town of Stockholm the Jewish Museum has reopened. The new permanent exhibition tells the forgotten story about the Jewish heritage in Sweden. With the motto “about a minority, for a majority” the museum reveals Jewish life in Sweden for 300 years.
Expology contributed to this reopened museum with project management and was responsible for the exhibition design, with the mission of giving great focus on aesthetics. The exhibition also contains contemporary artwork that, together with the exhibition design and the museum objects, creates a link between history and today.
